KIMBERLY, Wis. (AP) — Fox Valley Metro Police plan to seek charges against the parents of a newborn girl found abandoned outside a church in Kimberly last week.

Police say a 17-year-old Appleton girl has been identified as the baby’s mother and an 18-year-old Kimberly man as the father.

Police said Monday they planned to refer the case to the Outagamie County district attorney’s office.

Results of DNA testing are still pending. But police say they expect no other arrests in the case.

A man walking his dog discovered the infant on May 9 in back of the Fox Valley Christian Fellowship Church.
