JANESVILLE, Wis. (AP) — The man who disappeared from the hospital after he was accused of driving drunk and causing a crash that killed two people has been found in Janesville.

Police say they got a tip on the whereabouts of 21-year-old Omar Tavizon-Ramos and arrested him at an apartment Wednesday afternoon. Tavizon-Ramos disappeared from University Hospital in Madison on Monday night and later discarded his wheelchair and walking cast. He was injured in a crash that killed 19-year-old Jeffery Bauer and his 61-year-old grandmother, Margaret Worden. Police say Bauer and Worden were delivering newspapers on Easter morning when their vehicle was broadsided in Janesville by Tavizon-Ramos who was driving up to 100 mph.

The State Journal says Tavizon-Ramos is charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and other charges.
