WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) — Three people from central Wisconsin have been charged in a statewide prostitution ring.
Prosecutors say three 17-year-old girls told police they worked as prostitutes for the trio. According to a criminal complaint, the girls were taken to Milwaukee, Green Bay, Appleton and Wausau to have sex with customers.
One teen said she was paid about $150 from each of four customers last week. She said the money was split between her and the three defendants.
The Wausau Daily Herald said 19-year-old Darrell Vaughn, 18-year-old Nicole Riehle and 27-year-old Barbi Metzger, all of the Wausau area, have each been charged with three counts of enticing a child for prostitution and soliciting a child for prostitution.
