Foley & Lardner LLP announced that 19 of its attorneys have been elected to the partnership. This includes attorneys from the firm’s Boston, Detroit, Jacksonville, Madison, Milwaukee, New York, Orlando, San Diego/Del Mar, San Francisco, Tallahassee, Tampa and Washington, D.C. offices.

The law firm of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek SC announces that Daniel Miske has been inducted into the College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL). He is the only Wisconsin attorney in CCAL, which has 120 members nationwide.

CCAL members distinguish themselves through contributions to the development of community association law. Miske was recognized for his numerous contributions to seminars and publications. CCAL also considered that he has taught the Wisconsin Realtors Condominium Course and classes on business accounting and business law, organized the Wisconsin Legislative Action Committee for the Community Association Institute (CAI), and is President of CAI’s Wisconsin Chapter.

Miske concentrates his practice in the areas of condominium law, collections and business litigation. He earned his J.D. from DePaul University School of Law.

, the largest health care focused law firm in the country, has launched a blog providing comprehensive information on all matters relevant to health care real estate law, including real estate development, construction, finance, property tax exemptions and general transactional issues.

The blog is a resource for individuals in and serving the health care sector. The blog can be found at www.healthcarerealestatelaw.com, and will provide timely and relevant legal and practical information.

The firm also announced the hiring of Shareholder Daniel F. Miller to its Milwaukee office. Previously, Miller worked with Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek where he served as team leader of the Health Care Group and was also a shareholder.

Miller’s practice focuses in the areas of reimbursement, compliance and litigation, with a particular emphasis on Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement issues. He earned his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1985.

A member of the Health Law and Litigation sections of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin, Miller is also a member of the American Health Lawyers Association. He has also been admitted to practice in numerous federal courts, including the Court of Appeals for the Sixth, Seventh and D.C. Circuits.

Attorney Peter M. Young, an associate working out of Habush Habush & Rottier’s Rhinelander, Wausau and Stevens Point offices, has been named 2011 co-chair of the New Lawyers Section of the Wisconsin Association for Justice.

The Wisconsin Association for Justice is an organization of trial lawyers that focuses on consumer rights, the protection of individuals, and the promotion of a fair and effective justice system.

Young received his J.D. from Marquette University Law School in 2009. Young is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, the Forest County Potawatomi Tribal Bar, the Oneida-Vilas-Forest County Bar Association, and the Wisconsin Association for Justice.
