NEILLSVILLE, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin woman is charged with threatening to kill a judge.

According to a criminal complaint, 42-year-old Lori Armbrust sent a letter to a Clark County judge last week threatening to fatally stab him. The complaint says Armbrust wrote a similar letter last month, but it was intercepted by a counselor. Prosecutors say Armbrust told investigators she wanted to kill the judge because he committed her.

Armbrust is institutionalized at Whispering Pines Manor in Neillsville. WEAU-TV reports Armbrust is charged with two counts of threatening a judge.
