If you are interested in or researching Maritime law, a nice website is the Admiralty and Maritime Law Guide. The guide “includes over 1,500 annotated links to admiralty law resources on the Internet and a growing database of admiralty case digests, opinions and international maritime conventions.” One of the nicest features, in my opinion, is that the researcher can browse opinions by subject. For example, if you are interested in case law pertaining to the “carriage of goods” or the “Longshore & Harbor Workers Act”, you can quickly identify relevant case law. It is important to note that the decisions are the initial slip decisions so they lack citation information.

The website is a portal to additional information including links to recent legislation, relevant statutes, international conventions and other countries maritime laws. An interesting note is that the author of the website, Todd Kenyon, is a UW alum.
