Sexually Violent Persons
New trials; newly discovered evidence

Matthew A. Bailey appeals from a judgment and an order committing him, after a jury trial, as a “sexually violent person” under Wis. Stat. ch. 980 (2007-08). He also appeals from an order denying his postverdict motion for a new trial on the ground that revisions to an actuarial risk assessment tool constitutes newly discovered evidence. In the alternative, he requests a new trial in the interest of justice. We affirm the circuit court rulings. This opinion will not be published.
