Criminal Procedure
Ineffective assistance; other acts evidence

Raymond A. Habersat appeals from a judgment of conviction for one count of first-degree sexual assault of a child, contrary to Wis. Stat. § 948.02(1) (2005-06), and from orders denying his motion for postconviction relief. He argues that he is entitled to a new trial because: (1) the trial court erroneously admitted other acts evidence; and (2) trial counsel provided ineffective assistance in numerous ways. We reject Habersat's arguments and affirm. Not recommended for publication in the official reports.
