Professional Responsibility
Practicing during license suspension; misrepresentation

A six-month suspension of an attorney's license to practice law in Wisconsin is warranted, when: an attorney practiced law while his state bar membership was suspended; he misrepresented to the BBE that he had not done so, and he misrepresented to the OLR that he had not received
notice of his suspension, when in fact he had; the attorney did not cooperate with an OLR investigation; and he failed to timely pursue a criminal defendant's postconviction relief and to communicate with the client about that.

We also impose the costs of this disciplinary proceeding upon him.

Per curiam.
