Anyone looking for information about the broad spectrum of legal services available to low-income people in Milwaukee can find a valuable resource on the Coalition for Access to Legal Resource’s Web site at www.legalhelpmilwaukee.org. Elizabeth A. Conradson Cleary helped Marquette University Law School bring local legal service providers together in the coalition while serving as the school’s public service administrator the year after she graduated in 2005.

Helping Marquette institutionalize its public service efforts tied in well with the interest in social justice that drew Cleary into the practice of law.

Now an attorney in the Milwaukee City Attorney’s office, Cleary works with the Employes’ Retirement System, dealing with pension law and issues related to retirees.

She also remains active in many community activities, such as serving on the steering committee for Marquette’s Volunteer Legal Clinic. Her additional activities include working with FUEL’s Creative Council, Junior Achievement, and Mosaic Partnerships.
