Watch the first Supreme Court debate online

The two candidates for Wisconsin Supreme Court – Chief Justice Shirley S. Abrahamson and Jefferson County Circuit Court Judge Randy Koschnick – will face off in their first debate tomorrow.

The Wisconsin Newspaper Association will host a debate between Abrahamson and Koschnick during its annual conference in Green Bay. That debate is scheduled to take place at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow. The debate, which will be moderated by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Managing Editor George Stanley, is the first opportunity to hear the two candidates together.

Abrahamson, 75, has been on the Supreme Court since her appointment in 1976. She was elected in 1979 and is seeking her fourth 10-year term. Koschnick, 48, has been on the bench since 1999 and is the presiding judge in Jefferson County.
