Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Valerie L. Bailey-Rihn, a partner in the firm’s Madison office, has joined the Ice Age Park & Trail Foundation Board of Directors (IAPTF). The nonprofit organization, formed in 1985, supports, protects and maintains the natural beauty of the state’s thousand-mile footpath that was created during the Ice Age.
Bailey-Rihn focuses her practice in commercial transactions litigation, employee benefits and commercial bankruptcy, and restructuring and creditors’ rights.
She earned a law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

Bryan M. Becker (Marquette Law 1998) has been named a partner in the Milwaukee law firm of Howard, Solochek & Weber, SC. Becker practices creditors' rights law.

Attorney Joseph P. Wright has been elected to the executive committee of the law firm of Stafford Rosenbaum LLP. He will serve as the firm's operations partner. Wright is a senior partner in the firm. His practice focuses on business litigation, insurance and utility law.
Wright, a graduate of Harvard College, graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1988.

Gregory S. Mager has been elected shareholder in the law firm of O'Neil, Cannon, Hollman, DeJong S.C., and will continue his practice in the areas of civil litigation and family law, including mediation services. Mager received his Juris Doctor degree from Marquette University Law School.
dMatthew J. Wheeler, U.W. 2007, has joined Lathrop & Clark LLP, Madison, as an associate. His practice focuses on school, municipal and labor and employment law.
Christopher J. Hussin, Denver 1997, has made partner at Lathrop & Clark LLP, Madison. His practice continues to focus on all aspects of patent, trademark and copyright law.

Michael Best & Friedrich LLP announced the addition of Jennifer L. Ciralsky to the Labor and Employment Practice Group in the Milwaukee office. Ciralsky's practice includes litigation of employment claims and counseling corporate and nonprofit clients to ensure their compliance with federal and state employment laws.
She received a J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center.

Borgelt, Powell, Peterson & Frauen S.C., with offices in Milwaukee and Madison, announced that Patrick D. McNally became a shareholder on Jan. 1. McNally joined the firm in 2002 and will continue to concentrate in the areas of civil litigation, insurance coverage, and appellate advocacy.
