Attorney James L. Santelle received the Judge Robert W. Warren Public Service Award at the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association 5th Annual Meeting and Presentation on April 19 at the Milwaukee Athletic Club.

U.S. District Court Judge J.P. Stadt-mueller honored Santelle for his dedication to public service locally, nationally and abroad.

Santelle currently serves as the Department of Justice Attaché to the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad and is responsible for management and oversight of all Justice Department programs and activities in Iraq.

Santelle, who has spent the last 14 months in Iraq, is temporarily on leave. He has been involved in helping to establish a civil justice system in that country. He talked about those activities during his luncheon presentation to the EDWBA.
