Listen to this article

Timothy Shawn Mann appeals from a judgment of conviction entered after a jury convicted him of two counts of delivery of cocaine, and one count of bail jumping. He also appeals from the trial court’s order denying his postconviction motion for a new trial. Mann contends: (1) his due process rights were violated when his defense counsel failed to request a substitution of the judge; (2) the trial court erred in allowing a police detective to offer expert opinion testimony regarding how drug dealers operate; and (3) he is entitled to a new trial in the interest of justice because the evidence was inconsistent and insufficient.

We disagree and affirm.
