Listen to this article

Thomas L. Stafford raises several challenges to his conviction after a jury trial for violating the terms of a domestic abuse injunction. Stafford asserts that the trial court erred in turning down his motion to dismiss in which he alleged a violation of his due process rights because of the spoliation of evidence. He raises several trial court rulings that he claims were an erroneous exercise of discretion. In addition, he attacks the credibility of witnesses and the sufficiency of the evidence. Finally, he insists that he is entitled to a new trial in the interest of justice.

We reject all of his challenges and affirm the judgment of conviction and order denying postconviction relief.
