Listen to this article

David E. Williams appeals, pro se, from an order denying his Wis. Stat. sec. 974.06 (1999-2000) motion. Williams claims that: (1) he was denied the effective assistance of counsel; (2) he is entitled to a new trial in the interest of justice; and (3) his due-process rights were violated because the State failed to prove his status as a repeat offender.
