Listen to this article

John Sundberg appeals his judgment of divorce. He challenges the unequal property division, arguing that there is no evidence as to the value of the marital assets; he claims there is insufficient evidence to support the court’s finding of bad faith, and maintains that the court’s findings with respect to real and personal property are contrary to the evidence. He further contends that the court’s erroneous exercise of discretion in valuing the assets and unequally dividing the property requires a new trial in the interest of justice. We conclude that the court’s findings are supported by the testimony and that the record reveals a rational basis for the unequal property division.

We therefore reject his arguments and affirm the judgment.
