State’s high court rules no contract breach in plumbing dispute (UPDATE) (access required)

The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled Thursday that a Waukesha plumbing company is not entitled to direct payment for work done in 2008 because there was no breach of contract by the insurance company that hired the contractor.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court is scheduled to decide Thursday whether a Waukesha plumbing contractor is entitled to direct payment from an insurance company for work at a vacant rental property.
