Legal Aid Society luncheon (PHOTOS)

The Legal Aid Society hosted its 96th anniversary luncheon Sept. 6 at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee. Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen was the event’s principal speaker, and remarks also were made by Peter Stone, of Foley & Lardner LLP, and Marina Dimitrijevic, chairman of the Milwaukee County Board.

Wisconsin’s bankruptcy courts are divided over whether a Chapter 13 debtor can give preferential treatment to student loan debts.
