MANITOWOC, Wis. (AP) — A Manitowoc man has been sentenced to 12 years for his 12th drunken driving offense.

According to the Herald Times Reporter, 49-year-old Daniel Frisch was sentenced last month to seven years of initial confinement, followed by five years of extended supervision.

Conditions of Frisch’s extended supervision include paying $1,272 in fines and costs plus supervision fees, as well as submitting to random urine screens, no alcohol use and no visits to bars or taverns.

According to the police report, a witness saw Frisch driving his pickup the wrong direction on Aug. 24, 2009, and called police.

Frisch was on probation from a previous OWI conviction that required him to maintain sobriety.
