More than 150 people turned out for an eclectic mix of music at the Milwaukee Bar Association’s Battle of the Barristers event at the Rave on Sept. 23. Seven bands featuring local attorneys took the stage to showcase their talents and support the Milwaukee Justice Center. Heavy metal, alternative rock and R&B were among the styles featured throughout the night. During each band’s 15-minute set, judges evaluated originality, musical ability and stage presence in determining the winner of the competition which was the soulful rhythms of Faith, Hope & Love featuring Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Frederick Rosa.
