Denise Thomas is an active dynamic speaker and effective communication coach whose mission is to help emerging young students and ambitious professionals become recognized entrepreneurs and leaders by mastering the art of effective communication and networking. In her role as “The Effective Communication Coach” she uses techniques that are engaging and relevant.

She has been featured as a keynote speaker, emcee and moderator for various corporations and organizations including Northwestern Mutual, Stanley Black and Decker, Baird, Medical College of Wisconsin, Carroll University, General Electric, Aurora Health Care, MillerCoors, HPGM, NAACP Milwaukee, Milwaukee Urban League, YMCA of Greater Milwaukee, Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee, National Black MBA Chicago Chapter and the Thurgood Marshall Leadership Institute in Washington D.C.

Over the past 14 years, Denise has held numerous leadership positions and earned various awards based on her successes in Change Management, Global Supply Chain and Information Technology across companies such as Toyota Motor Manufacturing Inc., ConAgra Foods, PepsiCo, General Electric and MillerCoors.

A graduate of Cardinal Stritch University in Business Management, Denise is a proud member of the United Way Emerging Leaders Program, YMCA Black Achievers program and The Links Incorporated -Milwaukee Chapter. In 2015 she was recognized as the ONE MKE Drivers of Diversity, “Professional of the Year” and the MillerCoors 2015 Q3 BIS Diversity and Inclusion Award Recipient. In 2016, she was featured on the cover of NV (New Vision) as one of the 20 2016 “Movers & Shakers”. She proudly serves as Leadership Co-Chair for TEMPO Milwaukee – Emerging Women Leaders, sits on the Board of Directors for Our Next Generation and Meta House. She also serves on the Social X Advisory Council in Milwaukee and the BDPA Chicago Chapter Corporate Advisory Council. She is a proud mother of two future leaders, her daughter Dominique and son Daren.
