Law professor, MSNBC host to visit Marquette

A law professor and political commentator will be visiting Marquette University Law School.

Hugh Hewitt, a political commentator and constitutional law professor at the Orange, Calif.-based Chapman University Fowler School of Law, will be featured on “On the Issues with Mike Gousha” at 4 p.m. Sept. 28 in the Lubar Center at the law school’s Eckstein Hall, 1215 W. Michigan St., Milwaukee.

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.

Hewitt, a conservative commentator, writes a political blog, is a radio talk show host and hosts MSNBC’s “Hugh Hewitt Show.” Hewitt worked for six years in President Ronald Reagan’s administration in various positions, including assistant counsel and special assistant to two attorneys general. He has written for several publications and published a dozen books.

Gousha, an award-winning broadcast journalist, is the Marquette University Law School’s distinguished fellow in law and public policy. “On the Issues” features public conversations about law and public policy.
