The Wisconsin Supreme Court has appointed three attorneys to a committee that helps the court regulate the practice of law.

The court announced on Monday that it had selected Ozaukee County Circuit Court Commissioner Barry Boline of Port Washington, Eileen Evans of Law Office of Eileen T Evans in West Bend and John Zwolanek of Main Street Law Office in Waunakee to its Preliminary Review Committee.

The 14-member committee meets several times a year to review Office of Lawyer Regulation investigations. The group of nine lawyers and five non-lawyers also determines whether the OLR director has cause to file a disciplinary complaint or whether a dismissed case should be reviewed at the request of a grievant.

All members of the committee are volunteers.
