Walker taps assistant prosecutor for Marinette County DA spot

Gov. Scott Walker has appointed an assistant district attorney to fill the top prosecutor spot in Marinette County.

Walker announced Friday that DeShea Morrow will replace the outgoing Marinette County District Attorney Allen Brey, who resigned this month.

Morrow has been an assistant district attorney in Marinette County since 2009. Before that, she was an assistant state public defender and litigated felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile-delinquency cases.

She earned her law degree from the Oak Brook College of Law and Government Policy in Fresno, Calif.
