Court interpreter training coming to Milwaukee

The Director of State Courts Office is organizing court-interpreter training sessions in Milwaukee.

The office is accepting applications for cour- interpreter training sessions to be held on March 25 and March 28 at the Student Union on the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus, according to a news release.

The sessions are for people interested in learning the basics of court interpreting and will give them an overview of the court system’s needs and expectations. The sessions run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. over two days and cost $195, including lunch and all training materials.

The application deadline is March 10.
