Katrina N. Gadsby appeals an order of the circuit court granting sole custody and primary placement of her minor son, M.A.M., to his father, Jaime Martinez. Gadsby contends that the custody transfer was improper because neither party moved to modify custody, thus rendering the circuit court without the authority to modify the existing custody order. Gadsby also contends that the court erroneously exercised its discretion in applying the relevant statutes, and that the court erroneously refused to allow testimony from the minor child’s out-of-state psychologist. For the reasons we explain below, we disagree with Gadsby and affirm.
