The Wisconsin Supreme Court publicly reprimanded an attorney Friday over discipline he received in Maine.

Friday’s discipline stems from a complaint filed by the Office of Lawyer Regulation in January asking the court to impose discipline that is reciprocal to what Bradford Borman had received in Maine.

Borman was publicly reprimanded by Maine’s Grievance Commission Panel of the Board of Overseers of the Bar in October for failing to notify clients, opposing counsel, attorneys and courts that his Maine license had been suspended, in October 2014, and for failing to respond to Maine’s disciplinary authorities.

Borman, reaching a stipulation with the OLR, did not contest any of the allegations of misconduct, which included his failure to report his discipline in Maine within 20 days of the decision.

Borman, who graduated from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, was admitted to the Wisconsin bar in 2001. He was admitted to practice in Maine in 2007. He lives in Albuquerque, N.M., although he has a Maine address listed with the State Bar and OLR websites.

His Wisconsin license has been suspended since 2008 for failing to pay dues and for failure to report the completion of continuing legal-education requirements. The court on Friday also ordered that his license continue to be suspended.
