Facebook’s former general counsel will present a lecture on intellectual property at Marquette University Law School.
Ted Ullyot, now a partner at the venture-capital firm Andreessen Horowitz, will give a lecture titled “Innovation, Disruption and Intellectual Property: A View From Silicon Valley” on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in Eckstein Hall, 1215 W. Michigan St., Milwaukee.
Ullyot, according to a news release, directs Andreessen Horowitz’s policy and regulatory-affairs group. He was general counsel for Facebook from 2008 to 2013. He earned his law degree from the University of Chicago Law School.
Ullyot will be giving MU Law School’s Nies lecture, which remembers Judge Helen Wilson Neis, who was on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit bench from 1982 to 1996.
