Walker appoints two attorneys to UW Board of Regents

Gov. Scott Walker has appointed two attorneys to serve on the board that sets policies and rules for the University of Wisconsin System.

Walker appointed Tracey Klein, shareholder at Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren, and Bryan Steil, corporate counsel at Regal Beloit Corp., to two spots on UW’s Board of Regents on Friday, according to a news release.

Klein is also chair of Reinhart’s Health Care Practice and a member of the Board of Advisors of Marquette University Law School. She earned her undergraduate degree from UW-Madison and her law degree from Marquette University Law School.

Steil has been an attorney at McDermott Will & Emery in Chicago, as well as a legislative assistant to U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan in Washington, D.C. He earned his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his law degree from the UW Law School.
