SUPERIOR, Wis. (AP) — One of the five people accused in a fatal shooting in Superior has been found not guilty by jurors in Douglas County.

Kyham Dunn was acquitted Thursday night of party to felony murder in the 2014 shooting death of Garth Velin. He was also found not guilty of attempting to rob Velin. Prosecutors say the 20-year-old Velin was fatally shot at his Superior home during a drug-related attempted robbery.

Nineteen-year-old Chance Andrews earlier pleaded guilty to shooting Velin twice in the chest. He’s serving a 40-year sentence. Twenty-one-year-old Kane Robinson was found guilty of party to the murder last year and is serving 18 years in prison.

Robinson’s 20-year-old brother, Dallas, and 18-year-old Teah Phillips are scheduled for trial in February and March respectively.
