LA CROSSE, Wis. (AP) — A La Crosse teenager has pleaded not guilty to fatally shooting a 17-year-old boy.
Eighteen-year-old Deshawn Randall waived his preliminary hearing in La Crosse County on Thursday and entered the plea to first-degree intentional homicide.
Randall is accused in the Aug. 21 death of George Miller, who was shot during an argument while sitting in his car. Prosecutors say Randall shot Miller nine times and then held off police for four hours before finally surrendering.
Randall remains jailed on $1 million bond.
