Marquette University Law School has appointed an environmental attorney and engineer to lead the school’s Water Law and Policy Initiative and its expansion.
David Strifling, who is an adjunct professor, at Marquette will be the initiative’s first director, according to a news release. He earned his law and engineering degrees from Marquette. Strifling used to practice law at Quarles & Brady LLP. He previously taught at Temple University’s Beasly School of Law.
The initiative, according to the release, is intended to encourage research, discussion and education of water issues.
