MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Scott Walker has approved a 1 percent pay raise for a small state employee union.
Walker signed the deal into law on Wednesday after it passed the Legislature unanimously.
The new contract is with the Wisconsin State Attorneys Association.
The deal is for the current fiscal year only and the 1 percent raise is equal to raises other state employees have received. No pay increases are proposed in Walker’s budget for the two-year period that begins July 1.
