From those applicants, Walker will make an appointment to replace Judge John Albert, whose resignation is effective May 8, according to a news release.
The appointee would be up for election in April 2016.
Applications are due at 5 p.m. Feb. 26. A cover letter, resume, three to four references, two writing samples and a judicial application, which can be found on www.walker.wi.gov, are required. Application materials must be emailed to [email protected].
