With tax season upon us, many legal researchers search for basic tax rates and schedules.

Bloomberg BNA provides an app containing its “Quick Tax Reference.” It is available for both Android and iOS. The app includes rates for several items, including mileage, corporate tax, estate and gift tax, IRA limitations and individual tax. The app allows the user to check rates and schedules from 2011 forward.

Prefer things in print? There are a few quick tax guides formatted for print. For example, the National Association of Tax Professionals publishes a “2014 Tax Season Quick Reference Card.” Voya Financial also offers a summary of tax rates and schedules in PDF form.

ADP produces a useful publication titled “Fast Wage and Tax Facts.” The report includes information on the state and federal minimum wage, state income tax, unemployment insurance, Medicare and Social Security. It also includes direct links to all 50 states’ revenue and labor departments. The website has the reports available from 2010 forward.
