Frank Gumina has been named Milwaukee-based Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C.’s executive vice president of Legal Services.

Gumina will provide strategic leadership for the development and growth of the firm and its practice groups and coordinate internal resources to maximize the quality and scope of legal services delivered to clients.

Gumina is a shareholder in the firm’s Milwaukee office and co-leads the Health Care Law Team. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and his law degree from Marquette University Law School.

Milwaukee-based Godfrey & Kahn S.C. recently added nine new attorney associates to the firm’s Corporate, Environment & Energy Strategies, Investment Management, Litigation and Tax & Employee Benefits practice groups.

Daniel Barnes has joined the firm’s Tax & Employee Benefits Practice Group in the Milwaukee office. Barnes earned his law degree from the University of Iowa.

Benjamin Clarke has joined the firm’s Corporate Practice Group in the Milwaukee office. He received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

Matthew Covey has joined the Corporate Practice Group in the Milwaukee office. Covey earned his law degree from Northwestern University School of Law and received his bachelor’s degree from Bradley University in Illinois.

Emily Ertel has joined the firm’s Environment & Energy Strategies Practice Group in the Madison office. She received her law degree from Drake University Law School and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.

Christopher Flowers has joined the firm’s Litigation Practice Group in the Milwaukee office. He obtained his law degree from Marquette University Law School.

Charles Gordon has joined the firm’s Litigation Practice Group in the Milwaukee office. He received his law degree from Marquette University Law School.

Mark Hancock has joined Godfrey & Kahn’s Litigation Practice Group in the Madison office. He received his law degree from Stanford Law School.

David Konkel has joined the firm’s Litigation Practice Group in the Milwaukee office. He received his law degree from Seattle University Law School.

Jacqueline Roush has joined Godfrey & Kahn’s Investment Management and Corporate practice groups in the Milwaukee office. She received her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School and earned bachelor’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Don Daugherty has joined its Litigation Practice Group as a shareholder in the firm’s Milwaukee office. Daugherty’s practice focuses on the representation of vendors of information technology services and goods and their customers, eCommerce businesses, hospitals and other members of the health care industry, manufacturers, insurers, and financial institutions and other lenders.

Daugherty received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and earned his law degree from Northwestern University School of Law. He also serves on the governor’s State Judicial Selection Advisory Committee.

Milwaukee-based Hupy and Abraham S.C. has hired Attorney Anne Saghir to work in the Madison office. Saghir will be representing Madison-area clients in personal injury matters.

Before joining Hupy and Abraham, Saghir worked as an associate at Butler Pappas. Prior to that, she practiced at Spencer Fane Britt & Browne, which covered a large range of legal topics.

She received her bachelor’s from Northwestern University in 2001. She earned her law degree in 2006 from Saint Louis University School of Law.

wdw-120414The Schroeder Group S.C., Attorneys at Law, Waukesha, has adopted a new management structure that will transfer operational direction of the firm to president and attorney John Yentz from attorney Stuart Schroeder, who will remain as a practicing attorney.

Schroeder, who founded TSG in 1998, said his decision to sell his shares back to the firm to facilitate the change was due to personal reasons.

Yentz became TSG’s president in 2003.
