MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A new poll shows Republican Brad Schimel and Democrat Susan Happ are about even in the race for Wisconsin attorney general.
The Marquette University Law School poll released Wednesday shows Schimel with 41 percent among likely voters, compared with 39 percent for Happ. Two weeks ago, Schimel had 42 percent support among likely voters, compared with 41 percent for Happ.
Two weeks ago, 20 percent of respondents were undecided or didn’t know who they would vote for. That is down slightly to 19 percent
The poll of 585 likely voters was done between Sept. 25 and Sunday. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.1 percentage points.
The election is Nov. 4.
