Search and Seizure – reasonable suspicion — protective searches

Elisa Estrada appeals from a judgment of conviction and the circuit court’s denial of her motion to suppress evidence related to a search of her vehicle following a traffic stop. She argues that the police lacked reasonable suspicion to extend the traffic stop detention and perform a protective search of her vehicle. We disagree and affirm.
