MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A judge has sentenced a Darlington man to 25 years in federal prison for making sexually explicit videos of girls.
Timmy Reichling received the mandatory minimum sentence Wednesday after pleading guilty to producing child pornography in June. The judge sentenced the 47-year-old to a life term of supervised release.
Authorities seized computers and cameras from the house where he was living in August 2013. They found pictures and videos of several minors.
Prosecutors say Reichling posed as a teenage boy on Facebook to convince girls to send him nude pictures. They say he hid cameras in the homes of people who knew him.
The judge says a second-degree sexual assault conviction in 1993 factored into Reichling’s sentencing.
He still faces 11 felony charges in Lafayette County for other child sex crimes.
