MILWAUKEE (AP) — Two men accused of working with others to move heroin from Chicago to Marinette, Wis., and Menominee, Mich., have been sentenced in federal court.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 55-year-old Brian King, of Chicago, has been sentenced to 2-½ years in prison after pleading guilty to distributing more than 100 grams of heroin. Forty-one-year-old Donald Myers, of Menominee, has been sentenced to 21 months for using the phone with the intent of distributing heroin.

The men’s plea agreements say they worked with seven other co-defendants to move heroin supplied by King to the Marinette-Menominee area.

They were sentenced earlier this week by federal Judge William Griesbach in Milwaukee.
