CRANDON, Wis. (AP) — A Crandon man has been sentenced to 11-½ years in prison for sexually assaulting young children at his mother’s day care.
William Anderson has been convicted of five felonies in a plea agreement with prosecutors in Forest County. The felonies include repeated sexual assault of a child and exposing himself to children. Prosecutors say the incidents involve children ranging in age from four to six and happened between January and September of last year.
WAOW-TV reports the 39-year-old Anderson was also ordered Tuesday to serve 12 years of supervision following his prison term and write letters of apology to the victims and their families.
The complaint against Anderson says he would occasionally watch the children while his mother ran errands.
