SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) — A 17-year-old Sheboygan boy will stand trial for allegedly killing his father and hiding the body for nearly a week inside their apartment.

Dorian Torres is charged as an adult with first-degree intentional homicide in the death of 41-year-old Emilio Torres. Autopsy results showed he was repeatedly struck in the head with a blunt object.

Sheboygan Press Media reports Judge Terence Bourke ruled Wednesday there was enough evidence to hold a trial.

Detective Joel Clark testified that officers found Dorian Torres watching television while his dad’s body was beneath a box spring inside a bedroom. It was wrapped in a rain fly to a tent, along with a comforter, blanket, shower curtain and both duct and packaging tape.

Police and prosecutors have said that there’s no known motive.
