Employment — unemployment insurance — repayment

Terri Nethery appeals a judgment affirming a decision of the Labor and Industry Review Commission (LIRC). LIRC concluded Nethery concealed work performed and wages earned during specific weeks in which she filed unemployment benefit claims, contrary to Wis. Stat. § 108.04(11)(a) and (b). LIRC therefore ordered Nethery to repay $5,598 in past benefits and forfeit $4,324 in future benefits. We conclude LIRC’s factual findings are supported by credible evidence, and its conclusion that Nethery concealed work and wages is reasonable. We also reject Nethery’s argument that LIRC acted in excess of its powers. We therefore affirm. This opinion will not be published.
