RHINELANDER, Wis. (AP) — A Crandon man charged with sexually assaulting children who were in the care of his mother has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors in Forest County.

Thirty-nine-year-old William Anderson pleaded guilty Tuesday to five felonies, including repeated sexual assault of the same child and exposing himself to a child. One felony was dismissed, but will be read in when Anderson is sentenced Jan. 28.

Prosecutors say the four victims at his mother’s daycare were all under age 10. WSAW-TV reports Anderson would watch the children when his mother ran errands.

The defendant’s mother, Nancy Anderson, is charged with four counts of neglecting a child and three counts of failing to have daycare provider license. She pleaded not guilty to the charges and is scheduled to return to court Jan. 22.
