A co-worker sent me a link Wednesday to a blog post that discusses the possible charges against the character of Walter White in the AMC show “Breaking Bad.”

If you watch the show, you know that White has done a lot of awful things in his quest to build his meth empire. His wife, Skyler, is also in on it. The lawyers.com post discusses the charges the pair could potentially face for the murder, drug manufacturing and money laundering charges they would most likely rack up if they weren’t on TV. It says that most of their crimes would most likely be decided in federal court.

This paragraph is my favorite:

If Walt succeeds in arranging for Jesse’s killing, he could be found guilty of murder. Usually homicide falls within state jurisdiction. However, if Todd’s uncle kills Jesse, Walt could be charged under federal laws for retaliating against a witness or informant … and could sentenced to life imprisonment or the death penalty … The penalties range from minimum of 20 years in prison, life imprisonment or the death penalty …

Check out the poll at the end too, where readers can vote on Walter and Skyler’s punishment.
