WAUSAU, Wis. (AP) – A Wausau man who spent time behind bars for bigamy is out of jail.

Forty-six-year-old Tim Swinea was sentenced to time already served when he appeared in Marathon County Circuit Court on Thursday. Judge Mike Moran also ordered Swinea to serve three years of probation. The Mosinee women who married Swinea without knowing he was already married, Dawn Paglini, says probation isn’t enough for the pain Swinea caused her and her family.

The Daily Herald Media says Swinea is also accused of felony forgery charges in Calumet County. A former girlfriend told authorities Swinea stole thousands of dollars from her business in a check-kiting scheme. A trial is set to begin Sept. 4.
