Juveniles – TPR — summary judgment

Wesley J. appeals an order of the circuit court terminating his parental rights to his child, Gregory R. Wesley argues that the circuit court erred when it granted summary judgment in favor of the Department of Human Services determining that Wesley was unfit. In particular, Wesley argues that summary judgment was inappropriate in this type of termination of parental rights case, that there were issues of material fact remaining such that summary judgment should not have been granted, and that the circuit court erred by accepting testimonial evidence at the summary judgment hearing. I reject Wesley’s arguments, and affirm. This opinion will not be published.
