The Wisconsin Association of Legal Administrators announced the election of the following individuals to its Board of Directors for the 2012-13 term: President Laurie Dey-Canales of Halling & Cayo SC, Milwaukee; President-elect Stephanie Dantinne of Davis & Kuelthau SC, Green Bay; President-elect-elect Lisa Fox of Cullen Weston Pines & Bach LLP, Madison; past President John Schellinger, CLM of Balisle & Roberson SC, Madison; Vice President of Education Matthew Katz of Meissner Tierney Fisher & Nichols SC, Milwaukee; Vice President of Business Partner Relations Lisa Fox of Cullen Weston Pines & Bach LLP, Madison; Vice President of Membership Michelle Andler of Stafford Rosenbaum LLP, Madison; Vice President of Communications Jennifer Tarantino of Peterson, Johnson & Murray SC, Milwaukee; Vice President of Special Projects Phyllis Evans-Carr of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, Milwaukee; Secretary Kathy Johnson of Kohn Law Firm SC, Milwaukee; Treasurer John Schellinger, CLM of Balisle & Roberson SC, Milwaukee.

Michael Hupy, of Hupy & Abraham SC, Milwaukee, donated $100,000 to the Milwaukee Justice Center. The Milwaukee Justice Center is a collaborative project between the Milwaukee Bar Association, Milwaukee County and Marquette University Law School. Hupy is a founding member of the center, which is at the Milwaukee County Courthouse.

Alexis Lundgren joined the Milwaukee office of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP. She is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group. Lundgren earned her law degree in 2011 from the University of Minnesota Law School.

R. Joseph Stennis and Bryant Ferguson joined the Milwaukee office of Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren SC.
Stennis is an associate in Reinhart’s Labor and Employment practice. He represents public and private sector employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. Stennis received his law degree from the University of Louisville, Louis D. Brandeis School of Law.

Ferguson is an associate in the firm’s Employee Benefits practice. Prior to joining Reinhart, Ferguson worked as a tax consultant. He is a member of the Milwaukee Bar Association, the Arkansas Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin. Ferguson earned his law degree, magna cum laude, from Marquette University Law School.
