The FOIA Project is a website that collects documents related to Freedom of Information Act cases filed against government defendants from October 2009 forward.
The website indicates that “[d]ocuments provided currently include the docket from the initial filing, as well as the complaint instrument along with any attachments.”
The “Search Cases” tab offers the researcher a variety options for locating cases, including searching by keyword, filing date, district, case number, judge, plaintiff and defendant. There is also an interactive map that permits the user to identify cases by geographical location.
The site also offers an RSS feed and email subscription to receive notifications of new filings.
